| 英文描述 | TRYPANOSOMA EVANSI is found in tropical and subtropical areas, particularly in Southeast Asia. Spread by blood-sucking arthropods. Pigs are not very susceptible to this organism but the signs described below have been associated with a surra infection. Signs of rapid emaciation, frequent coughing, and diarrhea are seen in piglets. Emaciation and the other clinical signs listed are found in adults. Dx by finding the organism in tissues and body fluids. |
